ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Direct project activities with internal and external resources to manage corporate, customer and property owner expectations.
· Implement and monitor reporting methods from installation contractors and internal team members.
· Anticipate potential problems and work directly with clients with support from internal and external resources to avoid negative results.
· Handle day to day project level client communications including carrier relations, asset managers, carriers, engineering and property management.
· Create and implement innovative solutions when opportunities and challenges are out of the normal circumstances.
· Anticipate potential problems and implement corrective measures early in the process.
· Complete all project closeouts including site walks, punch list item completion, document scanning, site binder, lien releases, photos, and Oracle project status reporting.
· Proactively pursue carrier development opportunities by utilizing online training resources and requesting attendance to sessions offered by technical training and equipment vendors.
· Enhance our in-building opportunities with carrier customers by participating in site walks, design overview discussions, construction time frame expectations, and delivering projects as scheduled.
· Provide stewardship of the company capital expenditures by ensuring adherence to design standards, and ensuring compliance to Master Service Agreements with the installation contractors.
· Seek ways to minimize cost through understanding of the specific site conditions and circumstances.
· Prepare equipment room field notes and design documents.
· Approve all Distributed Antenna Systems and Equipment Room design drawings for assigned projects.
· Prepare and be accountable for adherence to project budgets.
· Conduct Radio Frequency coverage site surveys.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Excellent organizational skills
· Thorough understanding of National Fire Protection Agency(NFPA), Building Industry Consultants Services Inc (BISCI) cabling standards
· Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, technical and non-technical
· Self motivated, ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Able to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to problem solve and provide inventive solutions
- Understanding of building codes and impact on construction cost and time frames
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· 2 year associate degree or equivalent experience preferred
· Certified Project Manager a plus.
· Minimum of 8 years experience in electrical or communication cabling installation project management.
· Experience in building construction processes and methods including electrical, mechanical, fire protection and general contracting preferred.
· Minimum 2 years experience in wireless communication development strongly preferred.
ENVIRONMENT:
Approximately 50% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Approximately 50% will involve field activity including climbing ladders and carrying light equipment as well as working in jobsite construction environment, company facilities, or home office as required. Must be able to climb ladders and move through confined spaces to observe progress and inspect results of installations. Approximately 20-40% travel may be required in support of the positions responsibilities.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 50 pounds. Field activity will involve some climbing and may involve carrying equipment in excess of 50 pounds.
